What to do when you receive a dosage check message.
If the controller has been dosing with 100% output for longer than the time specified by the operator, a "Dosage Check" error occurs. To check dosage settings, go to:
Main Menu > Control > Settings > Dosage Check
Typical Result:
- Most Common- Kuntze instrument's PID controller not intended to be in use, but controller mode set to "AUTO". If Kuntze controller is not in use, switch controller mode to "MAN".
- Common- Control settings or pump specification inaccurate.
- Least Common- Analyzer or pump tubing broken.
CAUTION: a feed line might be broken!
1. Check feed line and connections carefully. Check chemical tanks and suction line.
2. Switch controller to MAN mode to make the alarm message disappear.
3. Switch controller back to AUTO to continue dosing when everything is okay.
