mA Output Add-On - Krypton® DIS

How to set the mA output on the analyzer.

Up to two analog outputs are available as add-ons. As soon as at least one mA output has been activated, the symbol mA OUT appears in the submenu IN/OUT.

Here you can set the following parameters: Main menu IN/OUT > mA OUT > set parameters

Parameters:
  1. Assignment - Select which parameter you want to read out via the mA output: measured value, temperature, flow (volume based dosing addon required) or controller output (controller add on required).
Note: If the mA output is assigned to the controller there is no 22 mA alarm alarm option. By changing the assignment back to measured value the 22 mA alarm has to be activated again.
  1. Range - Select either 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA from the drop-down list. While 4-20 mA gives slightly less resolution, it helps identifying cable breaks.
  2. 22 mA alarm - If you activate this function, the mA output rises to 22 mA during an active alarm.
  3. Range min and max - You can scale the output by defining which measured values correspond to 0/4 mA and 20 mA. With these settings you can even invert the output, by assigning 20 mA to a smaller value than 0/4 mA. In case of controller output, the signal output is automatically converted to %, disabling the option to set range min. and max.
