Reconnect Kuntze Cloud Connect® Gateway

Did your Gateway go offline? Follow these steps to get it reconnected.

There are two way that the gateway can be connected.

1. Wireless via SIM card cellular dongle

If you are using the cellular connection and having difficulty connecting or staying connected, it is most likely due to lack of cellular signal and the gateway should be moved to a location with stronger connectivity. Try to run the hardware near a window or door with good signal. 

Make sure that the connections are tightly secured and the cellular stick has a a SIM card inserted in the dongle. 

2. Connecting Gateway with Ethernet

If you choose to use Ethernet connection, make sure that you are securely connected to the Ethernet input in the gateway. Check with your internet provider for modem connectivity.

Best Practice:

  • Double check the connections inside of the instrument
  • Inside of the gateway there are two lights located on the top board. They are labeled RX and TX. The video below shows how these lights appear. If they are acting differently please submit a video of the lights in a ticket via Kuntze Support Center.
