      Using the Zirkon® DIS Test Plug - Krypton® Multi

      Understand what the DIS test plug is and how to use it.

      The Zirkon® DIS Test plug is a way to test if the disinfection cable is operating properly and if the instrument is accepting the proper mV signal. 

      The Zirkon® DIS test plug is available for purchase. Please contact your Kuntze representative for a quote. 

      Steps for using the test plug:

      1. Unscrew the cable from the disinfection sensor

      2. Screw the test plug on the end of the sensor cable

      3. Go to Main Menu > Cal > Cal DIS > look for the mV value that appears on this screen

      mV value for measuring ranges: This mV value can be +/- 10mV

      0-1000 = -300 mV

      0-5 ppm = -60 mV

      0-10 ppm = -30 mV

      0-20 ppm = -15 mV
