Default User Access control roles

Overview

The NEON® ONE platform uses a role-based access control system to protect system settings and ensure only authorized users can perform sensitive operations. Each role has a specific PIN code and permission level.

How to Log In

  1. Tap the Login icon in the navigation bar (top of screen)
  2. Select your role from the list
  3. Enter the corresponding PIN code using the numeric keypad
  4. Tap Confirm

After successful login, the current role is displayed in the top bar. Role-specific menus and actions become available based on your permission level.

Automatic Logout

The system includes a timeout mechanism that automatically returns the device to a locked state after a period of inactivity. This ensures security when the device is left unattended.

Security Recommendations

  • Only assign Service or Manager roles to qualified personnel
  • Change default PIN codes after initial setup
  • Protect access credentials against unauthorized use
  • Incorrect login attempts are limited to prevent unauthorized access
