Manual Clean Best Practices
- Stop flow by closing the inlet valve at the bottom of the Argon StabiFlow®.
- Remove the Zirkon® DIS sensor from the flow cell and remove the cable.
- Sprinkle about a teaspoon of a granular cleaning detergent on a damp paper towel.
- Using light hand pressure, polish the electrodes by twisting the sensor back and forth inside the paper towel.
- Thoroughly rinse the sensor with water. Be sure there is no remaining detergent on the sensor, especially in the small ceramic junction near the end of the sensor.
- Once rinsed, install the sensor back into the flow cell and reconnect the cable.
- Restore flow.
